On arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, meeting service then transfer to Kumai, seaport and the gate to reach National Park. Onboard, crossing Kumai river in approximately 15 minutes to reach Seikonyer river, the main river in National Park. Lunch will be served on boat by our own cook. We are riding on the boat about 2 hours to reach National Park. On the way up Sekonyer river you will see the different vegetation around the river bank like Nipah Palm, Pandanus, water lily, etc. In the late of Afternoon we continue our tour to observe Proboscis monkeys along the riverbanks. Proboscis monkeys are being the endemic animals that can be seen only in Borneo . Dinner and Overnight at Rimba Lodge After break fast, we will visit the activities at Pondok Tanggui, the second rehabilitation center where we can enjoy to see the mothers and dependent baby who still cling to the mother join the feeding around 09.00 AM . Here you will see how they coming through from the forest to reach the supplement from the ranger. While you observe them come, you also have time taking pictures and having the information from your guide about them. Return to the boat and continue our tour to reach the highlight of National Park, Camp Leakey area. It will pass the black water river which is full natural wildlife. Here you will see birds, monkeys, fish, also if you are lucky the fresh water crocodile. Lunch will be served on boat before reach Camp Leakey at 12.00 PM. Arriving at Camp Leakey , then walk up to the camp to see the information in the information center or searching the orangutan around the camp. If we have enough time we can hike into the forest to gain information of the heterogen forest wildlife while observing some wild animal as well. We continue our tour by following orangutan feeding which is being held at 14.00. Feeders will lead us to the state platform. We will enjoy the situation till 16.00 back to the boat, downstream dinner and overnight at Rimba Lodge After breakfast on the boat then boating down the river back to Kumai. Direct transfer to Pangkalan Bun airport for your next destination. On arrival in Bali will be pick up and transfer back to your original hotel.
